Devotional - A good conscience

ayres sensory integration christian devotional

"I myself always strive to have a good conscience without offense toward God and men”. Acts 24:16

Message:

Have you ever thought about living a life without regrets?

Living with sensory needs can bring about its own regrets.

There is a very special way though…

One that flies in the face of modern thinking…

To live a life without any – hard as that may seem.

Choose to live in such a way that you do the best you can in every circumstance.

Not the best that someone else could be or do…

But you.

Choose to trust God in every area of your life

– every decision

– every opportunity He sends your way

– every challenging situation.

Choose to obey

Choose to keep His commandments.

Choose to forgive others freely and fully.

Choose to follow what you sense Him prompting you do and what He reveals to you.

How others judge you is up to them, but you will have a clear conscience!

That is a life worth living!

Point to ponder:

How much am I living out of a good conscience?

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Help me to look at my life through your eyes. Help me to live surrendered to you so I can live with a clear conscience. I confess the areas where my conscience is pricked. I praise you for the peace and joy that forgiveness gives! Bless your name for your goodness in such truth.

Thank you, Jesus! Amen.
